TECNOTROPIC, THE WATER CHANGE

The watershed metaphor is literal in physical geography. In the gospel, it is an expression used in the Bible to refer to a moment or event that marks a significant change, a separation between the past and the future. For Jews, it is associated with the Crossing of the Red Sea when the Hebrew people crossed the waters miraculously divided by Moses, escaping the Egyptian army. This crossing represents not only a physical liberation, but also a spiritual and national transformation for the Hebrews, symbolizing the passage from a state of oppression to a state of freedom and divine protection.

This week, when Pesach (or Jewish Easter) is celebrated, we bring three physical dimensions of convergence, Oceans, Continents and Air and two others, scientific knowledge and the materiality of investments. AGRO SEA is a watershed for the environment by opening the debate between scientists and researchers with businesspeople and investors and carrying out proofs of concept in experimental fields to demonstrate that fewer greenhouse gases will be emitted with the use of minerals and nutrients from of the oceans.

TECNOTROPIC will be the inducing agent that will get “hands on” in business owners' properties to demonstrate that there are many gains that have not yet been realized and that will emerge when marine biologists start to carry out field tests with Lithothamnium, Asparagopsis Taxiformii and Kappaphycus Alvarezii in their cultivation. We selected these 3 varieties of algae, both because of their abundance on the Brazilian coast and because of their successful cultivation experiences.

Scientific knowledge and innovation for the benefit of the climate is the challenge that AGRO SEA takes on before an audience eager for a return on invested capital, ROI , and a society that desperately fights to rid the planet of greenhouse gases, Social ROI. The AGRO SEA theorem is that ROI and Social ROI are compatible and it will be the Exponential ROI that will boost the planet's GDP. The world's conscience woke up to the problem at ECO 92, in Rio de Janeiro, and has never stopped worrying through the COPs. In 2025 we will reach the thirtieth of them, COP 30 in the city of Belém in Pará.

140 million hectares of degraded land is the TAM (Total Available Market) assumed by TECNOTROPIC and 5 million is our SAM (Serviceable Available Market) in the 6 Brazilian biomes, Amazon, Caatinga, Cerrado, Pantanal, Atlantic Forest and Pampa. SOM (Serviceable Obtainable Market) focuses on 1 million hectares to transform into productive land in 10 years. Until COP 30 we will be working on 100 thousand hectares between forest regeneration and pasture recovery, in addition to extensive crops such as sugar cane, corn, soybeans and cotton and intensive crops such as fruit trees. The digestibility of ruminants will also be tested.

The natural resources contained in the Marine Flora covered by AGRO SEA are: salts of potassium, magnesium, cobalt, phosphorites, in addition to bromoform produced naturally by phytoplankton and seaweed and Carrageenan, sulfated linear polysaccharides obtained from seaweed extracts red, known as Carrageenophyte algae among many other trace elements essential to plant, animal and human life such as zinc, iron, copper, manganese, chromium, selenium, iodine... The debate panels in SP | RJ | BSB will be:

  1. CO2 - Recovery of Degraded Land and Carbon Sequestration

  2. CH4 - Reduction of Enteric Methane Emission

  3. SDG 2 - Zero Hunger and Sustainable Agriculture
