About the event
All eyes on the planet are focused on Brazil in this period that runs between COP 28 and COP 30, with the right to the G20 this year, under the leadership of Brazil. Evidently, there is a great distance between consensus and dissent, which requires broad debate between public and private sector actors.
AGRO SEA proposes debate between scientists and investors, so that the parties can form judgments and assess risks regarding invested capital and socio-environmental risks. Important advances are expected, as the risks of doing nothing are already known to the parties.
Three topics will be debated:
1. Carbon Sequestration
2. Enteric Methane Emissions
3. Zero Hunger
Field experiments will be carried out over 18 months to bring interested parties closer together and the results will be delivered by AGRO SEA to Governor Helder Barbalho for him to disseminate to the world at COP 30.
Who benefits from this?
The Brazilian government that provides the world with solutions to contain GHG emissions; the promoters of field experiments that anticipate the results that will be achieved, and the sponsors of AGRO SEA, whose brands will be associated with the decarbonization of the economy.
And who loses?
Those whose interests are associated with the slowdown in the energy transition, agribusiness producers whose competitiveness comes from public subsidies, and all climate change deniers.
We all lose if nothing is done and we all win if world hunger is reduced through public policies guided by civil society.
It's AGRO SEA getting its hands dirty, "hands on".
